Streatham Hill Theatre will open its doors for Open House Festival 2026, offering visitors a rare chance to explore one of Streatham’s landmark historic buildings.
One of Streatham’s most distinctive historic buildings will welcome visitors as part of this year’s Open House Festival, which runs across London from 12 to 20 September.
Streatham Hill Theatre is included in the festival programme as a drop-in venue, giving visitors a rare chance to explore a building that once hosted theatre, opera, ballet and variety performances. The theatre opened in 1929 and was the final theatre designed by architect W. G. R. Sprague.
